I actually think a drubbing against a weak team might be a good thing. We need to learn to really put the poorer teams to the sword this season, starting with Stoke.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostHope they aren't fielding a reserve type line up, we need a team that can have a go against us before the season starts.

But we did that pretty often last season, didn't we?Originally posted by Trippendicular View PostI actually think a drubbing against a weak team might be a good thing. We need to learn to really put the poorer teams to the sword this season, starting with Stoke..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.
