Yeah, I have watched him a fair few times this season, I posted a bit about him in the Bogdan thread. He's been excellent - great on one on ones, good distribution, seems calm and confident. He has made some stunning saves, and was very popular with the fans.

Excellent at Aberdeen is a world away from being at Liverpool though. Mignolet's failings aside, do you think Ward good enough to play for us?

It seems like every keeper we've had all the way back to Grobbelaar has been error prone.
James, Friedel, Westerveld, Dudek, and pretty much all of their various understudies all made regular clangers.

With the exception of Reina's first few years, but the mistakes even crept into his game in his final seasons.

All we need to do is look at Arsenal and see what a great keeper brings to your team.

They have improved just from having a proper keeper in their team. it gives confidence to the back four and midfield straight away.

also knowing when to kick it long or play it short , Mig yesterday bunged it to Clyne who had a man on him straight away , he just seems to not have the brain to make decisions in the heat of the game.

Yeah for sure seems like we have some right dumb asses in the team.

Moreno and Ibe as well but at least they are young and could improve as well.
