Thanjk you.

I'm not buying any of this statistical cap as I can see with my own eyes just how laboured and appalling his distribution is. He is so uncomfortable with the ball that it makes me cringe. Everything is panicked and is a disaster waiting to happen, again and again

Stick Jones in goal until we find a replacement. For all the derision he receives, he's not let us down half as much as Simon
Thats a fair point - as **** as I think BJ is he deserves a shot; that's how little I rate Mig
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins
Nice to see a complete lack of argument, just here are my eyes
From this I can gather that the rest of the PL's goalkeepers are absolutly horrendous in other peoples eyes at distribution with the feet, and it doesn't look much better in the rest of Europe!
FWIW......I'm less concerned about the passing between keeper and CBs, as its a weakness inherent in our play rooted from the passage of Gerrard's role last season splitting the CBs, the lack of movement in midfield to offer an outlet and the poor technique of all our CBs (and FBs TBH). It's now just part of our play allied with Rodgers' instructions to hold the ball.
Mig's awareness issues in these situations is definitely a problem, and we almost always concede possession once we've done our thing, but I'm far more concerned with his average/poor ability in every other aspect of his game, along with his lack on control of his area. That's never going to go away as you've either got it or you've not, and he ain't even close.
New manager or no, it's one area that needs addressing in the summer.........not exactly a treasure trove of keepers out there all the same.

“I don’t think Brad Jones had much to do today, other than for the goals. The change is for an indefinite period. I felt Brad did very well for me last year when I needed him, he’s a very capable keeper. We have to find solutions all over the squad to be better.”
