Ovr the last few seasons we have bought a virtually full team each summer. Ridiculous. Paisley would say replace three - no more, no less - each season, and I suspect Klopp will be closer to that than the last couple of years madness. So which positions should our 3 be? Goalkeeper, central defender and creative midfielder? Or central defender, creative midfielder and striker? Or.....

If you look at Klopp's transfer dealings when he joined Dortmund he had a massive summer clearout (17 players out) and a load of incomings (13 players in).

I don't think he'll be afraid of getting rid of players come the summer... it's been widely reported he'll be well backed in the summer transfer window.

whilst i agree he's not good enough for liverpool, i think the abuse he gets on here is not warranted. he's ****e, that's it, it's not his fault he get picked week after week.

Also, what really really really annoys me about Mig is his distribution. There was a time on Saturday when we were at 0-0 and i counted how long it took him to kick out the ball. I think it was Moreno that gave him the ball and from then it took 35 seconds for him to kick it out. We were the home team, we were the attacking team. And Mig just gave the opposition a 35 second breather and time to get organised. I saw John O'Shea talking to his partner at the back. Getting organised. I actually said to the guy sat next to me, "he could actually get booked for time wasting here if we were winning the game".

I remember that and I think I mentioned it in the match thread - it was like he was trying to waste time. The one time he tried to speed it up he threw it directly to one of their players, he really just needs to be binned.

yeah that was a car crash alright.

If you consider that we effectively gave away Reina to replace him with Mig then it is crazy. I remember the rationale for that being explained to me that Migs wages of £40k per week would save us £4m a year on the £120k per week that Reina was on..... so Migs £10m transfer fee would essentially pay for itself in 2½ years. That is all well and good, but in the meantime the team have a chocolate fireguard of a goalie.

The whole thing really is a cluster****.

although I don't think he's ****e as such, just a very very average keeper that is nowhere near good enough for LFC. His mentality and personality are far too timid to make it at the top level... poor ****er crumbles.

As regards the abuse, yeah it seems some players get it in the neck on here whilst others are immune from criticism, balance doesn't exist when it comes to football. Mig is not being **** on purpose, he's just not the required standard is all. Sooner the better he leaves.

Maybe, though others get it much worse, some bellends spam every match thread with the same so and so "is a cunt" so and so "is a pussy" "Moreno is a ****" etc etc every week, it's a wonder they find the time to actually watch the game.

Thought he had a couple of good hits away from Carroll's head and apart from that was his usual gaff prone self. Mishandled it a couple of times, couldn't catch it, and a couple of dodgy passes out of touch when under pressure.
