I think Mignolet is a better keeper than Karius.
I'm not sure what Loris has done to earn the number 1 spot and I'm not sure
What Mignolet did in the very recent games to be dropped -there was the Xaha goal at Arsenal I suppose.
Think Klopp has this one wrong but let's see.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

Karius is better than Mignolet at everything except for a couple of fairly crucial areas, namely, keeping the ball out of the net and composure (which is a worry, when Mignolet looks more composed than you). So, basically, Karius has better distribution than Mignolet, which when you see how effective Ederson typcally is for Man C is a big deal.
It becomes moot and it is worth **** all when he cant stop the ball from going in the net.Modifying post.

It's a small thing, but for the first goal, it was Karius's clearance into City's half that took Otamendi and Delph out of position to try and win the ball before Bobby knocked it back to Ox for the first goal.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostKarius is better than Mignolet at everything except for a couple of fairly crucial areas, namely, keeping the ball out of the net and composure (which is a worry, when Mignolet looks more composed than you). Mig's clearance would have struggled to reach the half way line and probably end up putting us back under pressure. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Does he really though? Can't say I've really seen this in action. He seems to have the same eyes closed punt down field that Mig employs and sometimes taps it to a full back, but this isn't really noteworthy and doesn't appear to give us a big advantage.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

When he first got a chance last season I would agree with you. Since he has come back in he has been as slow as ****.Originally posted by chadrtc View PostThe big advantage with Karius (and why I think Klopp picked him at the weekend) is the speed of his distribution. He makes those decisions much quicker than Ming, which is crucial for a fast counter attacking side.
