He loves a little moan to the press. It's not really our fault no one will seemingly pay money for him.

But hopefully someone comes forward and he leaves in January. Must be someone in Brazil who's likes a poor mans Alisson that we can get for the bench. And adds to the Brazilian community ready for Neymar next summer.

Simon was booted from the first team in January him and his agent had a 6/7 month head start over Karius to find a suitable club to move to, even the start of preseason Karius was number 1 and Alisson far from an nailed on conclusion. So Karius was going nowhere, should be pointing the finger at your agent rather than the club, an acceptable bid came for Karius not you so you stay.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Strange post. Written as if you have even the vaguest idea of what interest there was from other clubs, what kind of enquiries were made, whether there were offers, or what the manager wanted etc.

It was widely reported when Karius came back in following the signing of VVD that Mignolet was going to leave in the summer to be number 1 elsewhere and when has Klopp stopped someone who want to leave?

Also someone I know also knows Mignolet and he said his goodbyes before he left for the world cup saying he probably won't be back but is looking to stay in the prem but has offers in Turkey.

                But yeah not the vaguest.

We should have found a way to let Mig go. He is a senior player who needs to be playing regularly.

Most teams aren't stupid. He's a really poor goalkeeper mate, that's the reason we couldn't **** him off he's bloody terrible.

To be honest I thought that Mignolet would have been the first keeper out of the door, as whether we'd signed Alisson or not he wasn't going to be first choice. I would have thought that his agent would have lined up something early in the summer if there was much interest, but I don't really recall any serious links, so I suspect there wasn't really much interest.

I think his wages would have been a massive hindrance to any potential suitors & i think JK will be very happy to have him as back up for the season.

Putting Mig in line. Harsh, but Klopp has a good point. It's not like Mignolet covered himself in glory or that he was coveted during the summer.
