What the hell was the point in singing YNWA at the end of the game yesterday?

I mean we played fcuking ****e, aside from the first 25 minutes we showed no ambition, no effort, no ideas etc etc, it's all been chewed over already.
It was a performance the players should be ashmed of, sometimes were just far too nice in respect of backing our players, they didn't deserve a YNWA yesterday, no fcuking way.
Fair enough it shows we're backing our team but it was way to generous considering our dismal performance.

It was great when we were beat 4-1(not the scoreline of course) at home to Chelsea last season because all the lads played their hearts out, we had a fair few chances and it was a freak result, no way did we deserve to lose 4-1 that day, certainly brought a lump to the throat - fans singing YNWA.

A few posters have previously said themselves it was a bit to generous for their liking as well.

Sure it's traditional with Liverpool fans but yesterday i think should be
an exception, it's just the lack of effort that pissed me off and still yesterdays performance has yet to sink, it'll probably hit me in a day
or two.

Absolute nonsense. I didn't see any of our players joking after the match. We're not playing well and a couple of the players are not up to the required standard but to suggest that they dont care about the club or fans? NONSENSE! to say that fans who travel to the match shouldn't support the team is complete lunacy. What kind of supporter would that make them?

YNWA is as relevant in victory as it is in humiliation. All those legends of fans in Istanbul signing it at 3-0 down in Istanbul knew the meaning of the song. I suggest you learn as well.

Listen i'm not saying we shouldn't support our team, of course we should, we have and always will have the most supportive, passionate and knowledgeable fans in the land, however sometimes i feel we should be a little less forgiving, like yesterday when really we were humiliated we could show how frustrated we are by not singing YNWA, that way the players will know we're proberly pissed off.

No need to bite my head of people, i'm only making a point.
