Well said. If anything, the song is even more relevant in defeat.

When your faced with unified vitriol maybe you should think you made a whoopsie and apologise, rather than try and defend the indefensible and look a bigger fool. In fact, think before you post would be the best advice i could give you.Originally posted by Marky18Listen i'm not saying e shouldn't support our team, of course, we have and always will have the most supportive, passionate and knowledgeable fans in the land, however sometimes i feel we should be a little less forgiving, like yesterday when really we were humiliated we could show how frustrated we are by not singing YNWA, that way the players will know we're proberly pissed off.
No need to bite my head of people, i'm only making a point.
Didn't Nickser on 6CM not critise the away support in PSV for doing the same. You should have learnt something then....

Yeah but at least we played with a bit of pride that day, obviously it's fcuking European Cup final, in the first half we just were outplayed by a classy team.Originally posted by BobFFS! Mate **** off and read a Liverpool FC history book or some ****. Poor, poor post.

Yesterday was a different story, we did sweet fcuk all, the players didn't take resposnsibility, our Captain didn't perform and behave like a Captain, we showed no ambtions, no balls, no heart and got well and truly done as a result.
That is the difference.Last edited by Marky; 14-11-06, 12:55 AM."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

We never played well in the first half in Istanbul. Bob answered your point about supportig the team as well as anyone has so to try and pick holes in it is plain nonsense.Originally posted by Marky18Yeah but at least we played with a bit of pride that day, obviously it's fcuking Europena Cup final, in the first half we just were outplayed by a classy team.

All of us who were fortunate enough to be there that night will tell you what it is to support the team through thick and thin. You obviously haven't learnt that but you will.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Just because the players let the club down with their performance, doesn't mean the fans have to do the same.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Not supporting the team is counter-productive - the players will be mightily aware that wasn't good enough. Rafa will have them watching the game, they'll be embarrassed for sure. We'll be like a wounded animal in our next game (just like Arsenal on Sunday).Originally posted by Marky18Yeah but at least we played with a bit of pride that day, obviously it's fcuking Europena Cup final, in the first half we just were outplayed by a classy team.

Sorry but you're talking ****. You should've learnt your lesson by now, reading the responses you've had. When things get tough we don't want people getting on the team's back, we want people showing their support. If you think the players played poorly intentionally yesterday then you are a ****ing strange fella. And they were not dispassionate, they were despondant there is a big difference. They need a lift, we can either provide that lift or get on their ****ing backs, which do you think is best? Even if they don't play with enough passsion, the attitude should be that we will show them what kind of passion they should play with.Like blood on iron

Just one look at the lyrics to YNWA should tell you the answer to the question you ask in this quite pointless thread.Originally posted by Marky18Yeah but at least we played with a bit of pride that day, obviously it's fcuking Europena Cup final, in the first half we just were outplayed by a classy team.

Sure, the players might not deserve a YNWA, but they'll still always be told to hold their heads up high. Or would you rather the fans sang 'attack, attack'
"the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"

Richard Dunne - watch him every week an you'll see how good a player he is.
Here's a little quote from Micah Richards on Dunne in Man City's programme a few weeks ago:
"Richard Dunne was unbelievable at Goodison Park - he was man of he match, but he's been like that week in, week out"
I've already explained my reasons for this thread.
Next.."Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Yes. Mark is only 18 remember, and without sounding too patronising 'some' younger fans take defeat more to heart than more seasoned fans.
When i was a kid one of my mates used to run through to his bedroom and rip his LFC posters in his bedroom when we were losing.
He'd then sellotape them back up on the wall by the next time i was round....
