Wow that turn and through ball with the outside of the foot from Coutinho....he's a little genius.

What disappointed me in our summer dealings, is that we have spent over £20m on players who are not game changers. I'd rather sign no one and give a chance to a young player to develop than waste more money and wages on players who are just going to block their development.
Untill we know who's to leave, and who we bring in, it's far to early to judge any signing, we maybe just did the lower end business first, and have our targets depending on what happens with Suarez.
If those players replace the 'cogs' we had, and are better, make the team/squad better then so be it, you can't have players that are lots better than what we have for the work the 'small cogs' do, maybe if we were in the Champs leage better players would be willing to sit on our bench, but as of now, a small cog is a small cog, every team needs them, if we've improved ours as best we can for now then we have to live with that, and hope the signings we make from here on in are the big **** off gears that drive the cogs.
edit: Yeees...Aspas.

You don't think a keeper can be a game changer?

Of course he could as you say, not be of the quality to step up for a side like LFC, i just don't think he's had a fair crack, and now he's getting games he's probably guilty of trying to hard, so he spends his time either running around and seeing little of the ball, or the game passes him by because he spends all his time thinking too much about what he needs and wants to do, instead of playing natural instinctive football.
Ok. I'm not sure i believe the above, but it sounded good in my head..
all fair points mate... he definitely is trying too hard and no doubts he is better than what he is showing.. whether that's good enough i'm not so sure.
He makes good runs and gets into decent positions, but technique and composure just aren't there. Would love to see him succeed as we need all the help we can get, but for me i just don't see it with him.
