It would smack of 'back me to the hilt but expect nothing in return' which is a wank attitude

What if he was ill? What if his kid was ill? What if his missus was ill? Another family problem? A friends wedding reception? It's not compulsory to attend? He's been given time off and missed it with Gerrard's blessing? There could be 100s and 100s of perfectly valid reasons.

I havent seen pictures of Johnson, Skrtel, Mignolet, Agger and loads of others there yet either but there doesnt seem to be any questions towards them because quite rightly it's seen as utterly irrelevant. Same should be the case here.

I'm going to roundhouse anyone who criticises Henderson from now on. The lad's mustard

I only watched the first half but I wonder whether the Allen getting into the box tactic alongside the direct running Henderson showed for his goal will be a bigger feature of our game this season. Obviously it was only a friendly but perhaps not all of the goals we need to add will have to come from new signings.

I've thought from the moment he signed that Henderson was Gerrard's apprentice. He's not as naturally gifted but he's got the ability to learn. He's more powerful and attack minded than Gerrard is but obviously lacks the long range shots and passing range. The way both players power through on to the ball is very similar

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think he's prepared to play a more advanced role and makes more runs in to the box. He's developing well, can't wait to see him as a regular

Dear God Norbs. What're you smoking?

But Coutinho is younger and much better.

And Henderson is never more powerful or attack mind than Gerrard, sorry mate.

I would say his short passing game is a lot better though.
