Yeah but Arn you are dead set the most negative person that I've ever heard of. I'd understand it if you supported the Bitters or something but its really not that bad.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I get abused about my post count within this thread quite a bit now. I'm not negative about Rodgers, FSG, Ayre and the project.

You can make fun of someone and have a laugh about it and you can make fun of someone to try and get a reaction from the poster you make fun of.

I have stopped reacting to it.

It seems that it is ok to abuse posters that isn't positive about our future. The posters that is positive about our future don't get abused almost anything at all even that they post at least as much about their opinions as me or anyone else that isn't positive.

It is ok to have a different opinion you know and if we didn't post a lot about our opinions then it wouldn't be that much discussion, would it.

Est would die if different opinions wasn't allowed.
Hey, I'm honestly not having a personal dig at you.

But I am saying that I find reading your endlessly repeated points across all threads both utterly tedious, and strangely interesting in that people keep reacting to them.

Of course, you're entitled to express your opinions. You just repeat them again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again. To the point that these threads become an endless debate about your (let's be honest, quite wacky) views and not much else.

        You can see that, right?
        Oh I don't know.

It is still only my opinion and I and everyone else have the right to be negative without getting abused.

Different opinions is allowed, negative and positive. Even **** opinions is allowed.

It's not about that, Arn. It's about the fact that you recognised that you were repeating the same opinions again and again, and often using them as a stick to beat the club (and any posters who expressed a differing view) with. Even those people who agree with the general principle seemed to be finding your dogmatic approach pretty tiresome.

As I say, you recognised that and stopped repeating the same mantras. Generally, your other contributions to the site are always worth reading, as you have strong but often interesting and insightful opinions.

However, despite the promise in your sig, you're back on your high horse about throwing money around with wild abandon in order to perhaps get CL qualification. We know that's your view, but a lot of us fundamentally disagree with it. You clearly aren't going to change your view regardless of what any of us say, and that's fine. Don't expect us to change ours and suddenly agree with you either, though. It's your opinion, not fact, you've stated it lots of times, so we get it. You can stop telling us now.

I'm not sure anyone is trying to stifle debate btw. Quite the opposite in fact.
              Oh I don't know.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Whilst I think Arn is more guilty than most, people here do just keep posting the same opinions over and over again. I do it myself. I find some other prolific posters here far more irritating than Arn, they're so inane and make pointless posts always striving to be liked and not really saying anything. I guess if so many people didn't respond to Arn's posts then he wouldn't repeat himself so often?

No club ever have been successful trying to do what we do. As it stands right now looking at the squads in the PL then we have more or less no chance at all to finish in the top four.

We don't play our games in London. That means that we need to pay higher wages. We don't play in the CL. Again it means that we must pay higher wages. Instead we are trying to do the opposite.

Good luck FSG, you need it. You need it indeed.
I'd suggest that Man Utd bringing through Beckham, Giggs, Scholes and the Nevilles while supplenting with additional players when needed wasn't a million miles away and proved to be pretty successful.

And of the Arsenal invincible team. That was a blend of experience while adding not exvessively expensive additions as well as adding youth players when appropriate.

And that's just off the top of my head. A scout about would undoubtably turn up more.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
