I honestly think they believe the tripe they are pedlling most of the time, which is quite disconcerting

He sounds like a guy I work with is a Manc **** and he is always texting/ringing me after any defeat we suffer. He even texted me when we were a goal down to Olympiakos in 04/05 about how we were on our way out of Europe, but that blew up in his face big time!
Unfortunately though he is one of those sad ****s who doesn't so much support Manure, but just hates Liverpool. The kind of guy who goes to a match against Fulham for example, yet instead of supporting his ****ty team spends the whole match checking our score and singing anti-Scouse songs. Pathetic.
When we beat them I usually give a bit back but generally try not to stoop to his level.

I think the hate for Liverpool from the bluenoses largly stems from the Heysel disaster. They had their best team in years, qualifyed for europe then after the disaster English teams were banned for a good few years when they might have stood a chance.
        Go **** yourself

Nah, that's just what they use to justify it. The real reason they hate us is because we were the best team in the world and won loads of trophies, and it's all down to them that we exist in the first place, ha!

Thing is as well we're playing **** and we're level on points with them, they're playing to their level, and can't hope to go much higher, I think that says it all really.

It was not the content that got my back up so much it was the fact that he had typed the message out before the final whistle had blown and waited. :whatever:
I have never once stooped so low as to cane someone for there teams peformance directly after the game and have had many chances to do so and no doubt will have in the future. Even after we "won it 5 times" in Istanbul I let the silence do the talking and just mentioned it when ever he started on slating the team.
My question is: Do you lower yourself to that level and cane another persons team straight after the whistle has blown or wait a day (Like I use to / not sure if I will now) so that they have some time to get over it? Your thoughts / experiences please.
To ****ing true i do. Straight away!

Remember this is a team that beat us in a match and released a DVD about it.
