**** it, bored. 10 days til the start. What's your starting XI (plus 7 subs) for Stoke presuming everyone's fit and available (Suarez not included obviously)? We'll probably make a few more signings but you can re-post with new signings included later...if you like.

I don't think the team picks itself at the moment. Reckon we'll see a few differing sides.

The possible change I would make would be Sterling for Allen with Coutinho in more of a central role but Allen has done well preseason so hard to leave him out

I like Joe Allen but surprised to see him in most teams picked so far.

I really want to find room on the bench for Ibe he's looked really good in pre season, got to be careful with him though! I thought we overplayed Sterling at times last year and some idiot fans (not on here) were calling him **** Just turning 18 and being called **** about 5-10 games after being touted as a £15m target for Arsenal. Fickle.

I'm more suprised people are putting Sturridge in when he has had no pre-season and it really looks like he won't be ready to start the first game. We're going to need him fit for the long term, no point risking him imo when Aspas looks pretty capable of doing a job there.

My team was what I think will be the side rather than what I'd like the team to be. I think Rodgers will want to be proven right with Allen, he's almost a stick to beat him with at times and after his first few games Brenden was quick to call him a 'giant'. If Allen fails then Rodgers will have some egg on his face.

I thought him being on the bench was pretty risky, if we aren't winning with 15 minutes to go I could see us using him. So many players who have recurring injuries are rushed back because of how much the team needs them.
