    Harry Kewell

As the song says, "you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone".

    I think we miss him.

Yeah, he is solid even when he isn't setting the world on fire. Not sure he will ever really figure for us again though. Big fat shame it hasn't quite worked for him.

Of course we miss him, though most of you on here will be to stubborn to admit it.
        On the Ning Nang Nong
        Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
        There's a Nong Nang Ning
        Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
        On the Nong Ning Nang
        All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
        So it's Ning Nang Nong!
        Cows go Bong!
        Nong Nang Ning!
        Trees go Ping!
        Nong Ning Nang!
        The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!

Have said it a few times this season already, totaly agree.
He has been unlucky up to now IMO. No doubt there are those who will think otherwise though.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Hell of a player just doesn't seem to add up why he is so frequently injured.

I miss Harry playing. And we do need him. Badly.

I think we're missing him, yes, although it has nothing to do with our abject domestic failure so far this season.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think that it does in a way, only he and Garcia seem to have the intelligence and ability to switch wings when Stevie drifts from the wings. They also are good enough that Gerrard doesn't feel the need to try and do their job for them all the time, which means with one of them on the left we have a better shape. As Rafa seems to feel that Garcia doesn't recover quickly enough to play every game we are feeling the loss of Kewell in the league. He is also tougher than Garcia which would have been nice in some of our away games this season.

Still we shouldn't rely on someone who has as bad an injury record as Kewell. If he ever comes back I think he will be a shadow of his former self.

We'll all be complaining about him when he comes back

oh dear - it really has come to something when so many people think we are "missing" harry kewell. you could count his decent performances on one hand for ****s sake! if he was in the team now he'd be playing just as bad, if not worse, than everyone else. Please stop clutching at straws and get a grip on reality! good day to you.

Unfortunately, his former self was a shadow of his former former self.

I'd say you are right - but obviously since he is out injured then he is the most obvious solution to all our problems at the moment.

If HK was playing we would be unbeaten and sitting atop the Premiership - it's just a pity that we'll never be able to test that theory...
