I enjoyed that. Set pieces are a worry though. As ever, it seems.

Our team is pretty small, and that's all Stoke (different manager, same Stoke) do so they should be good at it

Our attacking play is very very good. When Suarez comes back and if we get Willian, we are going to blow some teams away.

So many positives going forward and our general passing, but the achilles heel seems to be set pieces against this type of physical side. We need another goal and then we can start to breathe easier.

It's an achilles heel as long as we don't convert a better ratio of our chances. The way we've played - pressing and passing for most of the half, was very very good. We'll take some beating this season.

Henderson shouldn't be playing on the right for us. Either put him in the middle or don't play him at all. We're very narrow but at least with 4-4-2, we've got threats up front.

Coutinho is worth 2 assists every game.

Mignolet so far hasn't been handling crosses. Stoke are going to keep doing that if he keeps this up.

Zonzi deserved that yellow,, lucas did not considering it was Walters with the push off on him! and how the heck did atkinson give that last minute corner to them considering it came off that 6'4 brickhead huth?

other than that we deserved to be leading, lucas is boss in the midfield, couts is running rings around their midfield and picking up fouls (i expect more yellows for them if they keep it up..if not shocking refereeing)...

In fairness, it was Lucas' 3rd foul of the half. Can blame Henderson for that one though, as it was his mistake that led to the foul being drawn.
Still, the foul on Cout was typical Stoke.

But every high ball that comes in looks like it's gonna result in a good chance for the opposition at the moment. By the law of averages, one of them will go in sooner or later.

I think we need to be a bit tighter at the back, we're committing full backs and playing with a very high line. Happy to be leading, cracking goal and we've had plenty of chances.

Been very impressed with Aspas in particular but also Lucas & Sturridge. Coutinho has been hot & cold but trying hard. He's got wonderful vision. I expect Sturridge to change his studs too.
