6 points clear of CL places and better goal difference. Lovely stuff.

        What a ****ing turnaround

Yeah I was going to post that - the top 4 are starting to move clear.

          Modifying post.

I fear Chelsea's resilience. And they've got the experience of winning the league.
              Are we winning?

Couldn't care less about being top of the league now being right up there though is fantastic. Gives us a real chance to be in with a shout when it matters.

While Drogba, erm Costa, remains injury free Chelsea have a talisman to work off. Their output will drop dramatically if/when he gets injured. He is known for niggling injuries in between world class form.

We don't work off a talisman but unfortuntely our whole heart up front has been ripped out. We need to limit damage until most are back. So in essence I agree with above, great to just be up there for now.

I hadn't really paid any attention to the table other than how we were doing but we have a nice gap to 5th & 6th place. While it would be amazing to win the league getting into the top four has to be our initial priority - personally I thought we'd finish 5th at best.

We need to do what we can to cement our good start and that is to ensure we have cover for Mane (ACN), Phil (injury still unknown) & Ings. A new wide forward is now a must for the Winter transfer window.

Man, theres so much **** in this league. Everton and Watford have been absolutely horrendous and yet are 7th and 8th, Utd not much better and 6th! The top 4 will all get over 80 points I think. 4th got 66 last season.

Last 4 years 7th has got at least 60 points. Can't see that happening this year.

Yet it seemed like this was going to be the most competitive the league had ever been going into the season, the gap was supposed to be closed due to the smaller clubs all spending major ££££. It hasn't really materialised yet has it!

United being as high as 6th is due to them winning their first 3 games, at that point they had a 5 point lead on us! there has been a 15 point swing during the last 10 games, quite ridiculous really.

can see it being the most competitive top 4 ever......but they will be well clear off the rest imo

I reckon Stoke and Southampton will rack up a few points. I hope Middlesbrough stay up (nothing to do with us being top of the league of course!)
