Don't think many of us thought Brendan would play such a strong team.

Dire second half, as I've said in previous games we aren't clinical enough when we are on top, we really struggle to turn dominance into goals: the game against Stoke we should have won comfortably but we had to rely on a penalty save to get us the points, that was a warning. Now we have extra time which is the last thing we want ahead of the weekend

Lol. How silly. We need to learn to close games out, all got rather lax after 2-0 even if we should have had several penalties. Cup ties are funny.

Not sure extra time will be a huge issue so early in the season, bit annoying but I'd much rather this loss of concentration had happened in this game than at the weekend.

Sterling and Ibe have been decent bar the final all which in their position is key.

They've been non existent in the second half IMO.. hope that they have that little bit extra youthful energy for extra time.

If this trend continues, Sunday could be ugly! United are strong in the areas we are weakest and if we lead at HT and come out like this against them, then game over.

My major concerns are

1) fatigue
2) these cunts are fired up now and likely to go and clatter in to someone

5 days to the next game mate. Only 4 into the season. If they are getting fatigued at this stage there is something wrong with them.

You could understand it at the back end of the season.

We don't have many games at all the season. Our first teamers need to play.
