I thought he had a nightmare and I'll be very worried if he is partnering Agger on Sunday.
    I mostly agree with this.

Spider Neil with his hyperboles. Got to laugh.
      Are we winning?

Wisdom was quite erratic at times, he did okay against poor opposition - if he plays against United I'll be worried.

The world will not end if we do not qualify for the CL this season you know. Of course we could really do with it and the league has to be the priority, but you can still make room to at least try to win other competitions. Its all rather boring, pointless and clinical otherwise. Cup ties like that are fun, when you lose all sense of that I honestly start to question the point in football.

Besides it could well be beneficial to give some players extra competitive minutes at this stage of the season. Hindsight with injuries etc is all well and good but we could easily have ended up walking that match 4-0 and having first teamers better prepared for the weekend.
It is as you say your opinion. I think that it is a big risk that if we finish worse than fifth then Rodgers will be sacked.

I think that it is only the results in the league that will count if Rodgers stays or not when it comes down to results on the pitch. Other things will of course also play a part. Like how good the manager is selling the club to top class players, young players improve or not etc.

It is only opinions. No one know how important the cups is this season. No one know how many points we must get or what place we must finish better than.

Opinions from fans that don't really have a clue.

IMO Rodgers should have started with 0 key players yesterday. Our B team should be good enough to win against Notts C at home easily.

I didn't watch the first half but caught the rest, thought we were pretty shambolic to be honest.

Wisdom looked all over the place at times, Toure and Agger didn't seem like a unit, Gerrard looked generally uninterested and lethargic. Only Sturridge impressed and even he was a little too greedy at times.

The worst bit is obviously the injuries we've suffered, with Kolo being the worst of the lot. Neither Allen or Cissohko are starters at the minute, just makes our tiny squad even smaller.

Still raw. Had the talent but needs to mentally settle quickly to make it here.

And you've got to worry for Borini if the manager doesn't think he can play an £11m striker at home against **** opposition.

                  Henderson eh?
Jesus Nigel talk about pot kettle black.

Allen wasn't great & has been sub standard since arriving ... any team that puts the slightest iota of pressure on him he doesn't know what to do, he's neither here nor there.

And you do remember the standard of opposition we were playing?? Cup game or not, that game should have been out of sight and done and dusted...we made it so hard for ourselves.

Henderson was very good last night... got stuck in from the minute he came on. As i said before between the two, i would much rather have Henderson in the other team rather than Joe Allen

That's a complete and utter no brainer. Henderson's developing constantly and gets better and better. Allen just seems a bit weedy

He was last night, have to agree. Don't know what happens to him.... bizarre decisions on the ball and tries too much sometimes.

He made it in to most (not mine) people's top 3 though. We missed Lucas but I'm glad he was rested for Sunday. Gerrard needed resting too last night. I would've started with Henderson and Allen in the middle and saved Gerrard for Sunday too.

His final ball was lacking but he was full of running. He put in a lot more effort than most of the team
