BR can't win really. If he puts out a young team and we lose he gets battered for not playing the senior players. I'm pleased that with 10 men they dug in and secured the win, that shows a bit of character, also if we are going to have injuries, now's the time with just under a week in the transfer market.

I think we would have lost that game last year having been pegged back and down to 10 men. Shows an improving mental toughness. We're a young side and as Sturridge said we might have got a bit complacent second half.
Toure being out (looks a bad injury too) is a blow but I think these kind of wins for a young team can help the players develop a never say die attitude.
After all, the bottom line is that we were down to 10 men and the players stepped up to win 4-2.Comment
