Yep, he has. He seems to be another massively injury prone player.

I think while he was out they kept loads of clean sheets so he hasn't been able to get a look in anyway.

It would be nice to see him loaned somewhere closer to home where its a bit more frantic and physical. Lets see if hes going to be good enough to be part of the group.

I hope he gets a lot of game time between now and the end of the season and comes back and is given a chance in the first team, he has all the potential to be a top class defender. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and in hindsight after witnessing what an error prone catastrophe Lovren has been, giving game time and experience to Ilori would have been far preferable and he couldn't possibly have been any worse.

If Rodgers keeps this formation into next season, as part of a 3 that would be an ideal platform to introduce him plus he has lightening acceleration which will be a huge asset for us at the back

Watched the first half of his game last week (before falling asleep). Did ok and looked comfortable on the ball.

Isn't he a right sided CB, who is decent on the ball? If he's good enough he could slot into Can's current role and Can could push up into midfield.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Played the whole 90minutes in Bordeaux's 3-2 win against PSG. Apart from the score I have no idea how the match went, but Ibrahimovic did say something like 'this **** country doesn't deserve PSG'.

Ibrah's such a humble guy too.

There is no way this lad will play for us. Never.

He seems like one of those signings Chelsea make. Sign for £2m, loan him out and never play him and then sell him down the road for £4m. Nice little return for someone who barely sees inside the stadium.

Just remembered we signed him for about £8m didnt we? Thats criminal.

Well said Alex, its exactly like that.

I find it strange when I read people slagging lovren, a £20m signing, and suggest this lad as coming back to take his place. Really? He's only played a handful of games in France.

Have another look at him in pre-season. If he's not ready then loan him out in the Championship ideally, until January. I wouldn't give up on him yet, he's clearly got a lot of potential. Had it not been for injuries he'd have played a lot of games for Bordeaux this season.

he looks decent but we now need to see him in a more pressured environment and see how he copes with more pace and power.

From the little I've seen, he's quick and comfortable on the ball. The fact that he's been loaned (twice) and still isn't getting much game time is an obvious indication that he has fallibilities but I'd be interested to know what they are.
