.Sky Sports understands Liverpool are exploring the possibility of bringing the player back. The Portuguese centre-back is yet to play for the Premier League's bottom club.
However, there is no recall clause in Ilori's contract so in order for him to return to Anfield, Aston Villa would have to cancel the loan agreement.

How funny would it be if he played for us and turned out to be the awesome ball playing centre back that he was billed as a while back. Whilst Villa fans still watch Joleon Lescott **** about at the back for them week in week out!!!

In reality, i think that it will be good for Klopp to at least look at Tiago. Because although there has been a redemption of sorts for Dejan Lovren, it is still likely that we will look to buy two centre backs in the next 2 transfer windows (maybe Toure and Skrtel focking off?) If that is the case, then someone like Ilori could maybe make a case for being the 4th choice centre back??

Presumably something to do with how many teams you play for affecting whether he can be transferred. I would imagine that if he isn't sold by the end of January he would come into contention. Doesn't sound good for him though does it?

Klopp did say he wasn't a fan of loaning out young players. He's now brought back Kent, Ilori and Ojo in the space of a few days. #LFC
