Our next six league games look very good for us at first glance. Swansea away looks the trickiest but we've slipped up against lesser sides all too often in the past. What do you think we'll pick up from the following?

Swansea v Liverpool
Liverpool v Southampton

*Suarez back*

Sunderland v Liverpool
Liverpool v Crystal Palace
Newcastle v Liverpool
Liverpool v West Brom

I think 18 points is possible but it's asking a lot for any side to win 9 straight games, let alone us. I'd be satisfied with 12 points from that lot

Oh, now you gone and done it. The long slide down the table begins.

But yes, a very attractive set of six games there. Should be favorites in all of them, you'd think. But the players (and manager) can't get ahead of themselves like they did at times last year, nor should we. We'll have an occasional blip anyway, all teams do.

Just done a BBC Predictor for the next 6 games and I had the league taking shape very early on, would be nice for someone like Tottenham or Arsenal to have a poor start though.

Had us top after the first 9 games, probably being a bit optimistic but its nice for a change

Just had a quick look - I reckon we could go into December top of the league..... But in dec we have Spurs, Chelsea and Man City all away - the latter 2 in the space of 2 days (26th and 28th) - could all go tits up then but if we had some sort of lead then these games change in that we can sit back and hit em on the break

At least footy is exciting again lads!!!
