Man Utd are **** and cunts. WIN

Cardiff away, yeah we'll do them. WIN

Spurs, high score draw. Comedy defending vs fluid attacking on both sides. DRAW

I predict 14 points from these.
We really should be taking 16, but we're never consistent enough for that. Destroying Everton and Arsenal but dropping points to Villa and West Brom. No game is really safe and no game cannot be won.

14-16 points. Should be winning 4. If we did win the easy 4 I'd take draws again Everton and Arsenal but I think we can win 5 and draw 1.
14 points. Should have had more considering we took the full 6 from the 2 tough home games but still a decent haul.

      Next 6

      Southampton (a)
      Manchester United (a)
      Cardiff (a)
      Sunderland (h)
      Tottenham (h)
      West Ham (a)

Would be expecting another 14-16 there. Cardiff away and Sunderland at home are ones I'd be gutted with less than 3 points. So it leaves 8-10 to get from Spuds at home, and 3 mid-table away games.

If we've got serious title ambitions, 14 points is the minimum requirement from that.

Next 3 games are all away

            Southampton
            Scum
            Cardiff

I think a realistic points tally is 7 what do other people think

I'll be satisfied with 7 but think 9 is absolutely attainable.

I think Southampton is the toughest of the three........but we are the better side, so if we do our job we should be looking to win if we've any aspirations of winning the title. 9pts please.

If we play at our best, we'll beat all three. We are better than Southampton, Utd and Cardiff. However, I agree with the above - Southampton is the trickiest game. We always seem to struggle away to The Saints. Also, the Old Trafford game will be Utd's cup final - they'll be desperate to beat us.

Think it will be L,D,W - 4 points.

4 points? So negative that. We'll do better than that.

It is a tricky little run though, and if we get 2 points per game in it we'll have done ok. That'd be 6 points. I'd say anything over 6 points would keep us right in the title race.

I think we will get 5 or 7 points from that lot, with a win over Cardiff and two draws. Perhaps sneak a win in over the scum.

Dreading the Southampton match the most, as the mid table away games have been our problem all season long, so I could see us go loosing that. Our litmus test so to speak.

'Always' struggling away to Southampton is a nonsense really. We played them last year and lost but that was our only visit their in nine years.

Anything before then should be completely disregarded as the teams have no resemblance to today. They ain't half as good as they were when they came to Anfield. We should be beating them but I'd be content with a draw so long as we follow up with 2 wins at United and Cardiff.

                        Minimum 5, target 7-9

                          I'd take that

in fact it's the United/Spurs games that are must win - win them and i think that will wrap up 4th.

minimum 10 points from next 6 games - getting something of united/spurs would be huge.
we got the win against Swansea

if we get 10 points from the next five games i'll be pleased -3 wins and a draw, especially if we get a win against spurs.

Tough run of games, I'd say 4 points is acceptable then go on and beat both Sunderland and Spurs to make it 10 from 5, I'd be delighted with anything better and disappointed with anything less.

With the fixtures being so tough we can only look as far as Southampton though, beat us here last year and we owe them one for doing us at Anfield, a draw would be a decent result but a win could get me believing in this title challenge.

I'm setting my sights on a title push and I'll be disappointed if we don't sustain it. I'll probably get over it quickly, but from where we're at, we need to push for the title. We can't aim for 4th - we need to try and win it now.
                              Are we winning?

The players and manager won't admit it but that's exactly what I think we're aiming for (ie the Title). Rogers doesn't seem content to sit back and consolidate - he's ALWAYS going for the win. Does nothing for my blood pressure

However, I'll continue to be negative/pessimistic (despite the evidence/stats) - it's my defence mechanism (something we don't seem to have at Liverpool )
