Feel a bit sorry too, but Rodgers choosing a yet-to-be-fielded Moses over him tells me that the latter is tearing it up in training and deserves the start ahead of a so far solid but unspectacular Aspas. That is, ahead on merit and form.

If that's the reason and he produces the goods tonight then fair enough. Although I think Aspas has done better than solid FWIW.

While I think his performances have been just that so far, solid and unspectacular, I still feel he's doing a good job in a new, more bustling league alongside fresh faces while playing in a different role from what he's used to in Celta Vigo.

Banking on him to produce the goods once he fully settles in.

So far he's been a striker who's not really a threat to the opposition. His link up play is good but that's about it. Suarez' talent justifies moving Coutinho to the left to accommodate him, I can't say the same about Aspas now that Moses is here.
