For me the blame has to lie with Rodgers I’m not sure what he was thinking starting 4 CBs. Our system relies on the full backs to bring the ball out from the back and get involved in build up play, neither Toure nor Sakho looked comfortable doing that and our game suffered as a result. I know Johnson is out and Wisdom hasn’t looked great but those decisions were puzzling. Also I thought the midfield looked slow and lethargic, a bad day at the office all around.

It had been coming, we've had a wee bit of luck & have really been disappearing in games come the second half. Aspas shouldn't be a starter and the decision to play Sahko at LB was pretty odd. The Lucas/Gerrard midfield pairing doesn't seem to work... IMO Lucas hasn't been the same player since his injury.

Only positive i can take out of this .. is that i had Southampton to win in my accumulator.. for me we were due a loss with our recent performances. Need others to drop points so we stay up top but hopefully we get Suarez back & injury list lessens.

Yes, we've really made a terrible start to this season as always.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Based on Rodgers philosophy, our midfield should be a lot stronger, but at the moment its as bad as it was when we had Hodgeson.

The midfield were equally poor. we dont seem to be able to create any chances unless Sturridge dribbles it up the pitch. We really do lack a midfiled general. I am not sure Lucas is going to be good enough to take us forward, as he need to dominate a bit more and be more dynamic when we go forward. Not even sure what Gerrards role in the team is, and Henderson looked equally clueless.

But Rodgers has to take full reponsibility for breaking the defence, which was the one part of the team that worked well. It was clear against Swansea that Toure was not a fullback, and Sakho needed bedding in. I grant you that Enrique was awful too, but we offered next to nothing on either flank. When we did break through every cross was rubbish. We hardly tested the goal keeper, while Mignolet kept us in thaat game. Shame his distribution isnt better as he an amazing shot stopper.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

You don't need to wait until the end of the season to look like a cunt.

Doesn't Enrique have a knock, Johnson is out as is Cissohko. I'm not sure who he was supposed to play at the back really other than what he put out, it didn't work granted but I'm not sure its fair to lay injuries at the managers feet.

Whilst I'm not happy with the result at all we're 1 point worse off than we were at the same point of the 08/09 season which I remember we didn't start that well in terms of performances either.

It's overall been a good start to the season for us but a disappointing week, we'll have to see how they bounce back from the setback and what BR can do to change and influence things.
