We can't risk a top four place by doing that. I wouldn't even play Suarez. It is against the Mancs but every league game is more important than a COC game against them.

Who cares if we get knocked out by them if we finish in the top four?
Sorry Arn but thats just plain wrong - because it is against the Mancs we should be going all out to hand their asses to them... our next game is Sunday afternoon so plenty of recovery time for the lads

Let's have these cunts - let Suarez loose
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

I think so, he's not listed in the Physio Room (Premier League).

          .............Mignolet................
          Kelly...Touré...Sakho...Enrique
          ........Lucas....Hendo............
          Sterling....Moses....Alberto
          ...............Suarez...............

moses is creative and might have a little more grit and man strength in the middle than alberto [at this stage in his settling in period]
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I know the league is important, obviously, but having had time to dedicate to plotting the downfall of southampton and failing miserably, I'd be worried at taking Arns view of saying what the hell to this cup. With no europe getting in the way, we should be flat out to win all 3 competitions. If the time came and we had a cup game mere days before an important league game come the business end of the season, fair enough prioritise. But if we were to finish 7th and have made no attempt to win the cups I'd be mightily pissed off and rightly so.

I think we need Moses' man strength out on the flank to support Enrique. The tactical discipline Moses has shown has been pretty decent and I think our full-backs could be in for a game. I also think we need to give Alberto some freedom without too much responsibility.

Yeah I'd start Alberto centrally & if he's struggling they can swap but he should have 1st dibs on the spot IMO.

we cannot 'play the kids' as we need to put the manc scum to the sword while they are still licking their wounds from the battering city dealt them

dont care if its a cup game, its LFC vs manure. we must rip them a new one.

Always nice to kick them when they're down Hopefully Suarez will be raring to go but Sturridge definately needs a rest. Either that or he has been lazy which a whole other discussion tbf.

I don't think Kelly will do too badly. Young has been total cock custard for the Scum this season and Giggs doesn't seem to be in favour.

I hope we put out a full strength team which will help us rectify some of the mistakes from the Saints match and hand Man U their arses on a Charity Shield.

You would, another golden opportunity to lay into our manager.

Seriously though I agree with you that the league is more important and that it's a risk starting first choice players with a squad that has been significantly weakened through injuries and suspensions recently but this isn't just any game - it's the Mancs at Old Trafford, I'm expecting BR to field our strongest 11.

I'd like to pour salt in their wounds and piss on their faces while they're trying to remove the salt.
