Going to be a tough game this - I'd have preferred it if Di Canio was still there, always tricky to player managerless clubs unless you get an early goal to make their heads drop.
I'd go for the same team that started against the Mancs, they'll have had 4 days rest, and we haven't got a game afterwards for a week so tiredness shouldn't be an issue. I thought there were some very encouraging signs in our play too, if not our final ball and finishing, so it'd be good to keep that developing with these players.

Encouraged by the overall shape and movement shown against the Mancs. Only change I make is swapping the positions of Suarez and Moses, making ol vole boy central and more of #10 and keeping Moses on the wings.I wear my heart on my profile name.

Moses was a bit lost without a touchline to hug.One tit for another.

Moses is a veritable touchline hugger.
Agree with the team assessment. We should only be duly concerned if our performances splutter from now on.Originally posted by G View PostOur best 11 is good enough for top 4 I reckon, and they only have 1 match per week from now until Christmas so hopefully we get everyone fit soon and stay in the top 4 until January.Even that side that played yesterday is good enough once the front 2 regain sharpness.I wear my heart on my profile name.

It's been a pissing start with injuries. Hopefully that's them out of the way now because to lose three or four first-team players so early on is a right pain.
Hopefully Suarez can keep out of trouble too.

Here's my team to face the Mackems:
THE MIG
Kelly - Toure - Skrtel - Sakho - Enrique
Henderson - Gerrard
Luis Alberto
Sturridge - Suarez
Biggest gamble being Alberto, admittedly, but I think we need someone who can play AM and while it might be tough on Moses he didn't look very comfortable playing through the middle IMO. Alberto's passing might just unleash Suarez and Sturridge, Moses tends to want to run with the ball, which can negate the good movement on offer from the front two.
We need Henderson playing through the middle and not stuck in an unfamiliar position and who better to play against than your previous club, so I'd play him alongside Gerrard. Lucas could do with a breather.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1
