I imagine we'll see how the Sunderland team line-up, but there will be a degree of flexibility. I'll guess at 4-4-2 at kick off.

Yup, especially when we've put three defenders on the bench. If Agger is struggling, leave him out and have a midfield option.

I wonder if Rodgers sees Ilori in a different role?

Can't believe Alberto has missed out from the squad , Good line up but shows our midfield is mega depleted , 3 defenders 3 attackers on the bench , I hope Gerrard and Lucas are fit , big game today after yesterday's results 3 point is a must

That's a strong lineup but feel sorry for Alberto as he should be there. We really do have a poor bench with no one who can be a game changer.

Weak squad but quite some injuries.
