Good to get 3 points- especially on the back of recent results. Much to work on, but we have almost double the points of Scum!
    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

An away win against a rejuvenated Sunderland, buoyed by a liked 'head coach' and a noisy crowd. We supressed the initial onslaught and coped well with a physical team that was up for a fight. We coped with their route one, lump it to the big man thanks to a great performance from the back three.

Enrique and Henderson struggled, but I imagine we'll see Henderson in a more central role against Palace.

We scored in the second half! Yay!

          3 points, Suarez back!
Is it possible that our weakest area is centre mid? Still not convinced on a Gerrard/Lucas partnership.

We're second. Utd are twelfth. Women's champions. Happy days.

apart from the stupid goal, the 2nd half was way, way better, esp. when hendo moved to the middle, and sterling played his best game this season. think we should keep him at wing back for crystal palace.

on a side note sakho is a beast, don't think he lost a duel today

Hard fought win against a dogged Sunderland playing for their manager and shirts.

We'll get better. Looks like the system needs to gel a bit, and we've changed sytem umpteen times this season. Bring in Johnson and Coutinho and we look a pretty strong squad. We need to control the game a bit better but that will come.

Pretty shocking quality a times from both teams.

                Scrappy!

                But a solid away win

Get in! An absolute must win for us considering the other results this weekend.

A great win considering Sunderland had something to prove, etc etc.

                  Back into the top four.

Lucas will be suspended for that, right?

Excellent win. The best strike force in the league. The new boys at the back look great too, Sakho is immense.

                        He will. We'll cope.

He certainly reacted like it was his fifth of the season. Not good considering that would be 5 cards in 8 games.

On the plus side, the people who aren't happy with the Gerrard / Lucas fulcrum will get a chance to see the alternatives next week.
                                Oh I don't know.
