Made up with that win, that third goal was a great counter attacking goal!

Here's a thought, the team has a few issues but none of us can do anything about any of them so how about we all just enjoy this for what it is.
We are second in the league having not really played very well for the most part and are just 2 points behind an Arsenal team that most people recognise as being on fire.
Oh and United are 12th
That'll do me.

Totally agree Henderson looked lost out there but he never stopped working Enrique is so dozy at times toure was a rock today and he looks like he's enjoying itOriginally posted by Muddled View PostAn away win against a rejuvenated Sunderland, buoyed by a liked 'head coach' and a noisy crowd. We supressed the initial onslaught and coped well with a physical team that was up for a fight. We coped with their route one, lump it to the big man thanks to a great performance from the back three.
Enrique and Henderson struggled, but I imagine we'll see Henderson in a more central role against Palace.
We scored in the second half! Yay!

Happy with the win. It was a rejuvinated Sunderland team, that fought for their new manager. Happy with the first half, Sunderland only had 1 chance and the freekick and we generally controlled that alright.
Second half was not pretty, especially the first part of it. Nice to be able to get the wins when it's not rolling for us. Second in the table
6 points ahead of the scum
This weekend have shown (again) that there are no easy matches in the PL anymore with all the money in it now.

Massive selection headache next week with 4 centre backs, all of whom can lay claim to being picked. Makes a lovely change. I can see Sakho getting a rest and Toure moving to RB with Agger, Skrtel and Enrique completing the back 4. Henderson and Gerrard are nailed on for the middle IMOOriginally posted by Assassin View PostAgger will replace Lucas

We need to wisen up playing the ball out from thr back. It is so lazy. Didnt they score a few seconds after we had the ball with Mignolet?
I thought we were going to **** that game up but chuffed to bits with the result. Skrtel was starting to look ropey. Sakho and Toure were absolute beasts though
Nice to see Sturridge finally passing

IMO them scoring woke us up and we looked in command after that. Enrique,Hendo,Lucas & Stevie were poor. Thought Toure was immense, Skrtel and Sahko too were excellent. Moses ok... bit better in second half & SAS were clinical.
Not the best display alright but another 3 points & another week of recoup for Johnson,Agger & Coutinho. Midfield is a big concern at the moment, way too static and not controlling any of the games. Not a fan of Hendo & he was abysmal today, but he cannot play out right. No doubts he'll play central vs Palace.
Loving the look of the table at the moment though.
