@thisisanfield: Raheem Sterling has been called up the England squad for Tuesday's qualifier against Poland.

But won't get a game anyway so is a complete waste of time calling him up in the first place building his hopes up.

I've been going off football for some time as it's the same tedious **** week after week but I find myself drawn to it each and every time. This is another example whereby a young fringe player who has done absolutely **** all through no fault of his own may I add to merit a place in the International team.

For this reason I have come to the conclusion that it's International football that is slowly putting me off the game.

Actually, it's not.

It's the diving fannies that go to ground, it's the slow mo replays of players complaining to the ref that they've been fouled that no one gives a flying **** about, mainly this occurs during Champions League games but happens in Internationals too.

It's the cameras flicking to the Managers complaining to the 4th official for every referee decision that has been made knowing full well that no matter what they say it's not going to influence the refs decision in any way shape or form. The flicking to some bit of mink in the crowd I don't mind but flicking to a fan waving into the camera before a game starts giving a fist sign, mainly at the Emirates or OT as the cameras go across the ground, or a fan crying when they've been relegated or a fan who's spotted themselves on camera and suddenly decides to wank off thinking they're the only person who's ever been seen on a live camera. I'm sorry but you go to a game to watch the game not watch the big screen.
