People will take to him when he brings something, like a trophy or a place at Europe's top table.

Personally I think he's fantastic, but until we deliver its all just talk.
    Forwards.......

Some of that one touch passing - phenomenal. I only saw the Sky Match choice highlights, but thought they looked amazing with high pressing, breaking forward and all of the looking so comfortable on the ball.

Its great that they're steamrolling **** teams. Its a momentum builder.

          Somewhere in between

Doubt they will consistently pick up the points against the top 4, but they seem to be able to hammer teams who should be below them.

Yup we've finally turned into flat track bullies.. if we can carry this on and nick few results from the so called top 4 sides... then we could definitely push for fourth spot. As for the title... not a chance.

Did BR tell him what to wear today or is he practicing for the role of lfc manager in a possible future movie about how lfc won the Premiership?

It was like I was saying about Lucas - he's shown up against superb, speedy midfielders like at Arsenal, but he isn't going to come up against many of that class during the season. He's more than enough for playing against ****e like Scotty Spitfire Parker. Hopefully we'll see some signings to make Lucas a squad option rather than the first name on the team sheet. He looked a different class to the opposition today. Mirror of the Arsenal game.

I think that is a huge leap to make on the basis of one game, when the rest of the team played poor too.

Massive leap in what way? Lucas isn't what he was - his form since his second injury demonstrates that, but he's still good enough to play in a team with top 4 aspirations, because a lot of the midfielders he's up against just aren't that good.

West Brom, Stoke and Southampton are giving other top teams a tough time so really we should be proud of our start.

I think we could have beaten Southampton had we Johnson and Enrique fit.

Great performance against a weak Fulham side. Not much else to say really.

Good we got straight back after the Arsenal game.

I think he is playing very well. His form has since his return from injury has been very good and our results are much better because of that.

I don't think we're a million miles apart in opinion here. I think he's fine for the majority of games in the league but looks a bit short up against the best teams. I'm still a fan of Lucas.

The only poor game he's had in my eyes was the arsenal game, when Gerrard and Henderson where equally poor.
