I guess it's bitterness from the two CL semi finals. With a bit of FA cup semi final bitterness thrown in for good measure.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostI had the leasure of looking on a chav forum yesterday.
Oh my they hate us more than anyone. I haven't a clue where this rivalry has come from. They have never been nothing more than a skid mark to us until they won the lottory.Oh I don't know.

Everybody is your mate until they have success. If a club pulls up a chair at the high table things change. Others at the table resent their success after initially not minding. Fans of the new power start to get cocky. For years they've had nothing & now they're gonna make the most of their unexpected success.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostI had the leasure of looking on a chav forum yesterday.

Take a look at Man City. The times they battled through. Relegation after relegation. Continually having their noses pushed in the dirt by United. Still decent crowds turning up for lower league games. A proper club, with proper fans. Then in comes the money. At first, everyone is happy for them, happy for their long suffering fans to taste success. But as they stick around, make bids for your players, call themselves a bigger club...... Well, people no longer think they deserve success.Forwards.......

A lot of this can also be laid at the feet of Mourinho, introduced the siege mentality the first time around and it's been the same ever since; every single Chelsea fan I know despises us and that's been evident since the Abramovich money and Mourinho came in.

I don't have any real hatred for Man City, yeah they bought their way to where they are like Chelsea did but they at least play decent football, Pellegrini seems a decent enough guy and they're fans in general aren't too bad about the success, compare that to Chelsea...Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostEverybody is your mate until they have success.
