I'm in exactly the same place. We owe it to ourselves to finish strongly and see out the remaining games. Anything else that happens is a wait and see.

I'm not going to say that it's only a game because obviously it's much more than that. Putting things into perspective it's not all that bad. And we can still win the bloody thing!

I got so angry watching today, in a pub of Chelsea fans and the odd cunt utd fan, I nearly got divorced on the spot. I don't need this hassle in my life. Its not enjoyable. Its ****ing torture. I think whether we win it or not, LFC has had enough of my life. The game of football is full of odious cunts. I think I have to divorce myself from it all for my own sanity and well being.

All I can think of regarding Everton next week is this game. Roma were in a title race with Inter so naturally Lazio didnt put in any effort, their fans celebrated the Inter goals and held up a massive banner saying "OOOOHHH NOOOOOO" when Inter scored and they whistled their own players when they tried to attack. Was one of the most bizarre games I've ever seen.

I can see Everton not putting up much of a fight now that realistically they have little to play for. I don't envisage City notching up a cricket score against them though, think it'll be a tight game.

Did you read Distin's interview I think when they took the initiative in chase for 4th. People within club wanted them to finish 5th if it cost them the title. Their fans are celebrating and tweeting their players to lose next week. Guess that is football though
