I'm not going to say that it's only a game because obviously it's much more than that. Putting things into perspective it's not all that bad. And we can still win the bloody thing!

Bad weekend but, with two games to go, we still have every chance of winning the title.

We dust ourselves down and we go again.

      1 Liverpool 36 80
      2 Chelsea. 36 78
      3 Man City 35 77
      Another MASSIVE game

We're still ahead even with what happened today. Chin up chaps. Still two games to go and all to play for.
        Are we winning?

We won't beat palace. I didn't think we would before today's game.

Its ****ing torture. I think whether we win it or not, LFC has had enough of my life. The game of football is full of odious cunts. I think I have to divorce myself from it all for my own sanity and well being.
Just stay away from football for a week till the next match, tune out and recharge a little. I know I'm gonna. Hope Stevie and the boys can do likewise. Dr Peters has his work cut out for him this week methinks.

Draw and win the next two and we rub it in those plastic Chelsea fans faces. City slip up and we win the league.

It's all rosy where I'm sitting.

No pressure on us now. We go to Palace and put as many past them as we can. Lots of teams have had control of this title race and lost it, who's to say it won't happen again.

No pressure, just play to win and see where it takes us.

Yep I was optimistic before today but its over now.

All I can think of regarding Everton next week is this game. Roma were in a title race with Inter so naturally Lazio didnt put in any effort, their fans celebrated the Inter goals and held up a massive banner saying "OOOOHHH NOOOOOO" when Inter scored and they whistled their own players when they tried to attack. Was one of the most bizarre games I've ever seen.

Look at the celebrations and thats the Lazio end! We like to distance ourselves from Italy, oooh its only racist out there, ooohhh they're the corrupt ones not the good old English league but we arent that different. Anyone expecting a favour next week - never underestimate football rivalry.

I can see Everton not putting up much of a fight now that realistically they have little to play for. I don't envisage City notching up a cricket score against them though, think it'll be a tight game.

I think we will beat palace & Newcastle; our chance will come & go with Villa.

Another sunderland win ( extra game) & they'll be right in it; i think they could quite esasily get a point at city, if they need it.

Come on mate. We've still got a chance. We go again. We've got to. It's not finished.

                            Crazy

Did you read Distin's interview I think when they took the initiative in chase for 4th. People within club wanted them to finish 5th if it cost them the title. Their fans are celebrating and tweeting their players to lose next week. Guess that is football though

Everton are a disgrace of a club

Yep. Get past today's disappointment, get it out of the system in the next couple of days and go again. This is how the club should see it. Man City is in the driver's seat and the pressure is all theirs.

Still gutted. Absolutely gutted and raging at the same time. Champions league is no consolation when the title slips from your fingers. I'd rather get the disappointment out the way now than be devastated to lose it on GD
