Was very down straight after the game but was thankfully preoccupied with the kids so they cheered me up.
After a nights sleep, I'm astounded by the 11 game run we went on. It was unfortunate that it had to come to an end to Chelsea but **** it, that's football.
Let's get the six points on the table, score as many goals as possible and let City worry about making the ground up. The fans have been fantastic home and away so all we can do is to continue encouraging the players.
I would have bitten many hands off for the chance to be in the mix so close to the end of the season.
We need to remember that we never really seem to do things the easy way and also that the first trophy is always the hardest to win.

C'mon guys!!!!! If we beat Palace, we'll win the league. City will drop something against either Everton, Villa or West Ham - these can all be strong teams on their day! It's just so not over yet!!!!Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

If Benteke has been around then I would have given Villa a sniff. They've barely scored a goal it seems since his achilles went. West Ham on the last day might be interesting if they feel like taking part like QPR did on the last day in 2012. They can be awkward customers if the game is tight late on.

I am 100% convinced we will win the league, it might even be on goal difference on the last day but we will win. City will not win all 3 of their games, they will draw one, we just need to do our part and I'm sure we will. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Definitely won't be on goal difference if it does happen.
Just too much to make up, with the added drawback of them having to also overcome whatever City add on, especially with their last two games at home, against poor opposition who, while not safe now, may be in better positions by then.
Everton are our best hope, and while I don't share the whole 'they'd throw the game' agenda (at least with the team/manger, if not certain aspects of their support), they look weaker and may not be as highly motivated as we'd like if Arsenal do their job for 4th spot.
We'll just have to see how it goes, but, despite what I said above, we shouldn't give up even if we're going into the last game level with City."I will make the boys feel your support"

I'm not sure it has. In different seasons I think we'd be done by this but I think Brendan and Steve Peters will settle and refocus us.Originally posted by Norbs View PostOur momentum has ended. Our nerves are shot. We need a miracle
