Well we just have to accept that we are not the finished article we fell short we are not as good as Man City we are not good enough to win the prem ..... not yet ... however we are good enough to be second best and we would all have been happy to take that at the start of the season ... yes i am gutted too but cmon from where we were to 2nd in the prem as long as we buy correctly and Brendon can build on what he has all ready done whos to say we cant do it next year and deserve it
It's devastating but this group will be back stronger than ever, we dont have owners who'll wreck the team this time and we arent an old squad. Any Manc, Chelsea etc cunts thinking we'll fall away because we have a few more games now are deluded.
On the plus side I win over 23 grand if City win the league so can go and sulk abroad for a few months though I still hope the bet loses but no chance now.
I really hope I'm wrong but I really do believe this was it,this was THE chance. Yes Brendan is building something and yes we will still be challenging next season and beyond but to actually win it,we won't get a better chance when we have the distraction of the CL.
We need to get every single signing this summer 100% bang on.
Get rid of the deadwood and **** in the summer and with CL football we will have a great squad next season. There's about 5 or 6 players that will leave in the summer.
I've said it earlier that it was going to be a massive disappointment if we don't go and win the league. It's normal that people are feeling deflated. I personally need a break from football really. I've invested too much emotionally and this is hard to take.
I know I'll be looking back at this season as an incredible season but I'll be relieved when it ends and be football free till the World Cup. Hopefully I'll use that as a way of balancing my enjoyment of the game without the emotional heartbreak of these crushing results.
Crushingly disappointed but still incredibly proud.
What a season this has been, City will win the league and they deserve to, they're the only team that has the right balance of defence and attack. We need to address that in the summer.
To have taken it this far when in reality, we had no right to be in that title race is a credit to all the players.
**** off Spurs. The ****ing nerve they have when they've spent 100 million pounds on useless players and the best they can hope for is a 6th place finish unless they score literally 20 goals in their next game.
Absolutely ridiculous. ABU or ABL? One and the same if you ask me.
Let's beat Newcastle and finish second, maybe even first (very unlikely). Really gutted, but the progress from 7th to 1st with one game to go is an amazing achievement.
Let's see how City do against Villa. It's not over. We're on the canvas but we can still rise from the dead. If City win against Villa it's an eight count but it's still not done. We have taken the title right to the wire. Now that's a good season.

Yeah - funny things happen on the last day of the season. History is littered with unlikely results on the last day (United losing to West Ham is the one that immediately springs to mind - and who have City got?). It's not over 'til it's over (even if it probably is over...).
