West Ham have played City three times this season. Aggregate score? 12-1

I reallt don't think West Ham will get anything out of this but they have improved in the second half of the season tbf.

Why do most on here seem more downcast because of the Palace game than the one against Chelsea?

That makes no sense to me.

The Chelsea loss was 100 times more important than drawing with Palace because at that time we still had the title in our hands with three games left.

All a win at Palace could have done would have been to apply pressure to City. Nothing more. Losing the ability to control your own destiny was the key thing and we lost it against the Russian gangster's club from London

well for me - at least Chelsea, whatever we think about them and their manager, are clearly a talented team with a strong squad and the loss was bad - but two wins out of two would have meant that city had to win three out of three and be under pressure.

palace we were 3-0 up and cruising. with 10 mins to go. and we completely collapsed - that totally ended it.

I can't even imagine the stress level of a West Ham 1 goal lead with time ticking down. I'm praying that I will be experiencing it!

If we hadn't had all of those draws and lost to Swansea, Palace and Villa we would be pushing Spuds for that last Europa cup place...****, wrong season.

My, how things have changed, I hope it continues.

No point at looking at games where we were unlucky or made stupid errors not least because it doesn't take into account all the times we got a bit of luck. We just are where we are - which is pretty ****ing good when you consider we were 7th last season. Look at City's squad, it's full of fantastic footballers and they play great football (shame the fans are ****) and it's no disgrace coming second to them (if we don't get lucky).

Also there is no disgrace in losing to Chelsea and drawing away at Palace. I know the manner of the result against Palace is gutting but the actual result in it's self was probably the most likely outcome and a point is probably par.

Why are the City fans ****?

They were excellent when they fell into the third tier of English football. Loyal and loud, fatalistic and good humoured.

Do you think it's something to do with the design of the Etithad Stadium and the fact it's located on the other side of the city?
