The mind boggles as to why Wenger didn't go out and buy a very good striker, he knew he needed one, hence his record bid for Suarez, so to then go out and spend that money on Ozil and not a striker seems suicidal.

Ok, i can understand that maybe the perfect striker wasn't available, or the second most perfect, or 3rd or 4th or 5th even! but ffs he could have surely found a decent 25mill striker who would have improved that team, just a decent goal scorer.

    Shoddy.

    It's all good though.

Who cares, we have two of them plus Coutinho who is playing better than Ozil right now anyway!

I do wish we had someone like Mertesaker who can organise our defence.

Also thinking about having a few quid on Sturridge for top scorer - 7 behind Luis and he's at 14's.
Presumably e/w for golden boot is only top 2 but what fraction of the odds? 1/3? 1/2?

            Hard to argue with that

              Hey........ he's not fat!!
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Still on, but just. Not good for my heart that.
                        Are we winning?

                          Not with that defence.

It's going to bite us in the arse eventually. I just can't see us sustaining wins with this kind of roller coaster, erratic play.

Still in it but my god we need to put some work in on the defensive side of our game.

We've not been contenders for the title all season. Top 4 is the realistic goal. Anything else is a bonus.
                              Oh I don't know.

Our defending is a worry. I wouldn't say that's down to our defence.
