If Chelsea can be so poor away to Palace (and I watched it they were pure ****e) then they will drop more points so I am going to count them out right now.

Of City's remaining 8 games, 5 of them will be at home so thats a huge plus for them. We basically have to beat them at Anfield and hope that they lose at Everton too because other than that their run is in piss easy

We have to win the next 7 games or draw with City and win 6 to have a chance

I was 19 when we last won it so I pretty much remember all the triumphs through the 80s.

This is different though ... It feels rather surreal.

In the old days there was an expectation amongst us that we'd finish top of the pile and win it mostly every year. We were perennial favourites, the best team in the land over many years. It was normal service. You could turn on the radio at any point during a game and you'd hear 'Liverpool are dominating this game and its just a matter of time before they score' and then we did.

If we do it this year, it'll be the greatest league title triumph in our history as far as I'm concerned. Absolutely incredible to come from the position we were in on and off the field and finish top of the table this year.

A lot of Liverpool fans (not on here) acting as if we have it. If we were to win it we'd have to win 6 if not 7 out of the remaining 7 games. A huge ask. That's to add to the 7 games we've already won in a row, which would mean a run of 14 wins in 14 matches. That's almost unprecedented.

I do agree, I think some are getting ahead of themselves but then again they're confident and so they should be. 7 games is a lot of games and is a massive challenge but we look good. Our front line is savage and quite frankly, scary to watch.

I'm absolutely confident that we will be involved in this fight right to the ****ing death and we will beat Chelsea and take points off City. We are flying mate but I can understand your apprehension at the same time, it's something we've always been used to and it's hard to believe as a Liverpool fan that we're involved in this.

BTW I like many was very young when we last won it. I was 12 years old.

I understand the apprehension some have but at the same time we've had loads of years of ****e to put up with,this season should really inspire you to get ****ing giddy with excitement and lose the run of yourself with optimism. If we don't win it so what ,we will have still massively exceeded expectations.

No point in looking back, there's always going to be a game in a long season that we feel we should have won and didn't. We're here now, we're in it and we rely on ourselves. Couldn't have asked for more.

This is a completely new feeling for me. We last won the league when I was 12. We always won it, I was a kid and I was blasé about it. So for my entire adult life, bar really 2009 (which despite some revisionism very much felt like a title challenge), I haven't known this. This is different to 2009 as it's in our hands. I am absolutely ****ting my pants. Guts doing somersaults as I write this, farting like a faltering machine gun.
