Is it true that this was the first game we've won this season with neither Suarez nor Sturridge scoring a goal?
                Oh I don't know.

I don't think so. It may be but I'd be surprised.

League, yes. But we did beat Oldham with an own goal and the mighty Aspas!

Hardly surprising giving how many they've scored between them

I always feel we have a great chance to beat City, especially at home, but recently despite being outplayed, they've managed to spawn something out of the game. They've got the players to do that again, they have so many individuals capable of a spark of brilliance that I can't let myself get carried away. I don't fear them, but I do respect them, and I think it promises to be a cracking game. It's crunch time and the winner will probably go on and win the league. A draw isn't a disaster for us, but it's a very good result for them.

Rodgers is right, the pressure is on City, not us. They are the favourites for the title and they can't afford to lose this game. We've already achieved our season's objective and now we are just enjoying the ride and seeing where we end up. Look at Chelsea, they are so tense, you can see it in the players body language, it's in total contrast to our lads who are loving every minute of every game which shows in our performances and results. The atmosphere around the club is so positive and I wouldn't be surprised if that hasn't added a good 10% onto our performance levels. City aren't as bad as Chelsea but they're definitely not having as much fun as our boys.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."
