Third would be slightly disappointing now, but obviously a huge improvement over last year. If we beat City on Sunday then I believe that the league will be ours - it's a massive game.

Whilst I don't want to be disappointed I also don't want to miss out on the sheer joy that is this title race by down playing it. We're well past that point IMHO.

We haven't been realistic contenders in a title race very often in the last 24 years,I honestly can't fathom why people wouldn't allow themselves to get caught up in the madness of it all and enjoy it just incase they might be disappointed by the end of it.This is what its all about!Not being able to watch the games because of nerves and stuff,can't understand that at all.

Each to there own and all but I see little point in supporting a football team if you can't enjoy the good times and get giddy with excitement that you might win the title.

Not quite sure I agree with that. Squad needs reinforcing for a title challenge next season if we are to make any real progress in the Champions League. El Capitano will eventually need replacing and how **** do you find a replacement for arguably the best player to have ever played for Liverpool Football Club!?!

Also, Chelsea aren't going into next season with **** all up front and Man City aren't having a Shawn Michaels impersonator playing alongside Kompany next season. I'm praying we don't let this incredible opportunity slip through our fingers as it could be the best chance for a while!

Nothing like that is guaranteed. We've had many false dawns,suppose thats why some are cautious. To me,the fact we have had many false dawns is why I'll embrace this title charge for everything that it is and enjoy it to its fullest.

For me, it's the sheer importance of it all, the timing with Hillsborough, the need to get this monkey off our back once and for bloody all!

There's no guarantee we'll be in this position next season or ever again but it seems to me that we're building a culture of success. Yes we have some exceptional players but it's our spirit and playing style that is exceptional.
