Incredible to think that just under half of our season wins have come in the last 10 games.

It's interesting reading about the different emotions engendered by the move from hope to an expectation that it will happen. I'm just really enjoying the football for a change, and have had a gut feeling for quite a while that this could be our year (it already is in so many ways). Try not to stress too much people, we're going for it and taking no prisoners.

As a side note its an unfortunate human trait that after expectation comes entitlement and you can read all about that on redcafe.

incredible that this team keeps marching on

what's great is so far we have had every different type of test and come out on top.

this might sound a bit 'random' but the last couple of wins are better than winning 3-0/4-0

what i mean by that is, if you are just spanking everyone 3-0 each week, you can get a bit cocky and a bit complacent, then all of a sudden find yourself 1-0 down against someone **** who then stick 11 men behind the ball and the players don't know what to do/how to handle it....

but we've shown we can do it all

we beat teams who just defend
we beat teams who came out and attack us
we win away from home against teams fighting for their lives
we win away from home against top teams
we win at home against teams fighting for their lives
we win at home against top teams
we win by coming from behind
we win when under pressure
we win not playing particular well and fight through it
we win when teams just launch it long
we win when teams come back at us and get level and we dig deep and nick a win

it works great that we get a bit of rest now.

it would be ****ing great if city/chelsea just drew their next games, just to take some of the pressure off.

i'm hoping that city are bit mentally done in from yesterday - both kompany and toure struggling for fitness and sunderland to play wednesday, hopefully they fight for their lives and somehow nick a draw.

Chelsea, the big thing for us is the champions league games - extra travel, extra preparation, plus Atletico do not stop working, running, kicking so win/lose/draw they are going to be two tough games, so hopefully that takes a bit out of them


for us - losing henderson is a bit of a blow but not 'vital'. He has played well and works tremondusly hard but both Allen and Lucas are more than capable, have played well when asked this year and will be chomping at the bit to get their place back.

One issue for me is suarez/sturridge - just don't seem right at the moment - could be that other teams are just making it more difficult, could be both are suffering a bit of burn out, but both have looked frustrated -

i actually thing - norwich away, might be good that sturridge has a little knock and is rested.

something like that - get suarez playing up top/through the middle - plenty of support from coutinho and sterling, who can both be given the freedom to concentrate on attacking, knowing that they have three midfielders in behind them

I think Fergie really spurred us on when he came out with all that ****e. Look at how players he mentioned individually have responded (Hendo & Gerrard). Its great, he must be hating every minute of his retirement.
