We're all longing for it mate.

Got to take it easy with 5 points ahead.
    Are we winning?

Im just thinking those 5 points could be gone in a flash. I'll happily admit when it comes to lfc I never expect the best. Must be a defence mechanism.

Ive been obsessed with LFC for years. Dont really remember the last league win. Coupled with the total admiration of Gerrard I just badly want us to not let this slip

We've already done incredibly well to keep up with City. I mean, incredibly, because they've been on a ****ing run for the last 20 or so games. To be 5 points ahead of them (potentially 3 if they win their game in hand) is ****ing majestic.

But yeah, I can totally understand where you're coming from though. It's a horrible feeling to think we could still blow it up after doing so well. We deserve to win this.

A loss to Chelsea and the momentum swings back to City. They play straight after us and they will kick off knowing if they win all their games the league is theirs on goal difference. That would be an absolute heartbreaker.

Still far from ours yet. Let's hope for another epic performance against Chelsea. I think if we beat them then mentally City will have almost given up once they kick off against Palace.

Yes Pablo. Neville said similar. If we can beat Chelsea it will demoralise City. It is such a massive game. Mathematically we cant win it on Sunday but if we win its a huge step

They'll be without Barry when they play City. He's going to be a massive loss for them.

The problem may also lie in drinking Coffee at 4am.

10 seconds after we win it, some ******* on here will open a "defending the title" thread.

they could be without aguero, silva and toure

i do think everton are playing well, especially at home and still fighting for a 4th place - they will give city a really tough game.

i'd be ecstatic with a draw.

a draw would mean if city drew that/won their other games they'd finish 85 points.

two wins would see us on 86 - if we beat chelsea, then potentially we could be going to Crystal palace to win the league

**** **** **** - need to stop thinking about all this

why can't we just be 10 points clear and it's all done

All that said, they're pretty impotent upfront. If Eto'o is crocked and Hazard is resting for the Champions League, you do wonder where their goals are going to come from.

The best attack versus the best defence.

their biggest threat will be schurrle.

stop him, and suarez, sturridge and sterling will do the rest.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

He's not even a certain starter for them. Salah has taken his place in the side recently I think.

They've got dangerous player on the counter attack. Hazard, Willian, Oscar, Salah, Schurrle. All of those are fast, dangerous players. We'll need to be very careful. They are almost certain to sit deep and try to hit us on the break.

I can't see us keeping a clean sheet ( we never do!) so our attack is going to need to be on top form against probably the best defence in the league.

It's going to be tough this one.

Pellegrini said that Toure should be back for Palace and that Aguero is fine.
