Nah - we'd still be Luckypool stealing the league because of our cheating and unfair schedule.....

Me either. Thought I'd balance out the overoptimism

I honestly think I'd give up and go and live in a cave for 20 years if we **** this up now.
When first plays second and you look at the teams involved, its a toss of a coin, we are both capable of beating each other. Mourinho excels in getting results when he needs one.
This malarkey is definitely not good for your wellbeing, its mental torture. Its worse for us than City & Chelsea fans as we want it so bad after having to wait so long. They have both won it recently and although obviously want to do so again, to their fans I'm sure they aren't eating themselves up like us. I honestly don't know how the players can go out and perform every week when the pressure is so high. Although Gerrard apart, the players can't want it as much as us either, I mean its been 24 years, some of the lads aren't even that old. Professional pride is one thing, but we live for this club 24/7 365 days a year. Its always the fans that suffer the most. Come on bring it home!

Aye, I'm not optimistic. However - maybe we'll win and I'll meet a brand new woman in Liverpool on the celebratory night.

Consider how much discipline and drive is required to keep their bodies in elite athlete shape. That's how much they want to win.

I think this game hinges on Sturridge starting. It's that extra pace that will stretch their defence opening up scoring opportunities, and he will be desperate to score against them, but even if he is 90% fit, surely it's a risk we have to take. It's all or nothing at this stage.

I pray Luis sorts his feet & mind out and has one of those unbelievable games where he's unstoppable, you know the sort that Messi & Ronaldo come up with so often when it matters. If he turns it on, he can win this match and the title almost on his own. Chelsea's whole game plan will be around winding him up and he was almost too hyped for City the other week imo. Its games like this and the next 2 after that imo that a player can earn that real' legendary status'. 6 goals in the next 3 games should do it Luis.

I think we will be fine first half without him, second half not so much. So if we could 35 mins out of him then.

Yeah hope so, last few games his feet haven't been the same, albeit you could argue the same about Strurridge. I suppose they can't perform at the same level every bloody game, but let's hope it's back for Chelsea.
