The Crazy Malaysian is back who missed that Palace game due to the high winds. Hopefully the Everton players will realise they can't let down this 'uber' supporter and throw everything they have at Citeh!

I feel a certain amount of calm actually now the dust has settled. I was more nervous this time last week.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostDon't know about the rest of ye, but this title race is playing havoc with my heart. Keep getting palpitations every time I think too much about it. The quicker it's over the better.
It's out of our hands for the moment, but were sitting waiting in the wings ready to pounce on any mistake they make. It's not how I wanted it, but given time to cool off I'm ok with it.

Something we all need to remember is that this isn't the last time we're going to challenge for the title. This isn't Benitez under Hicks and Gillett where 08-09 was the beginning of the end, this is a genuine start to a new era of competitiveness.
Even if LFC miss out this season, next season is there and the year after that. We have good owners and the best young coach in the league. This is the starting point, not the end

You are getting old mate.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostSorry but some of you are being hilariously melodramatic about all this
Shankly's famous quip was wrong, football is not more important than life and death. Take some time to reflect and see it's just a tiny part of your life. It's not healthy to obsess to this extent.
After the final whistle the other day I felt horrendous. I wandered out into the garden where my little two year old daughter was happily playing. With the sun on my face I watched her play and the angst just drifted away. As much as we love it, as much as it's a part of our lives, it's only football.
It's not over yet, but should we fail to win the league this season and I'll be doing my damnedest to keep the disappointment to a minimum. We have so much to be proud of

I am still not over the game on Sunday. Bloody buses!! But, I still believe we are going to win it, it is our destiny this season, nothing will change that.

I believed it was. But I think we would have nicked a draw on Sunday if it really was our destinyOriginally posted by Tee View PostYou are getting old mate.

This time next week all will be revealed.....Originally posted by Sarb View PostI believed it was. But I think we would have nicked a draw on Sunday if it really was our destiny
If we fail to do this I will still be so damn proud of us and expect another challenge next season. But deep down I still feel it is ours this season.

I think its so hard to take because I believed it was destiny but now it feels like it really wasnt.

You said that if we don't win the league you'd take a sabatical. I said turrah then because it's your choice what you do. Why do you need someone else to convince you to be rational? Your choice, your comment, what's the problem?Originally posted by Marina View PostAppreciate your attitude and the fact that you haven't said something condescending like "Stop being dramatic" or "Turrah, love" in response.
I know you're right and I really could do with some more rationality. It's been a great season all things considered. At the start of the season, 2nd place would have been an absolute dream.
Your perspective is great, but football is a lot more emotional than many other things in life, isn't it? Haha.
