Well it's not all square they have a ten goal difference which means they win it if neither team blinks. Not trying to be a pedant, just gutted.

Second on goal difference if we win our two games. That sucks.

We win at Palace and the pressure is back on Citeh- vs a team that might even turn up.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Give our boys credit for a fantastic season. Second or 3rd to a club in breach of FFP. Awesome achievement . Title race is done though

After that events will conspire to give us our shot and we'll take it with a plum.
              As I said!

The pessimism makes my eyes bleed.

They just got injuries to key players and still have 2 games to play but its over apparently.

Some lfc fans don't deserve to celebrate it if we win it,done nothing but moan during the best season in recent history.

So it's finished now ? We've got to stop and watch them win their next two games ?
                Are we winning?

West ham last game of the season, they've done it before and cost the Mancs the title.

Citeh looked so nervous today and they could be missing a couple of key players, if they do it fair enough but it's not over yet

I don't believe anybody is saying "give up", more a case of preparing themselves so that hopes/expectation doesn't get dashed again.
                    Nowt wrong with lurking!

Dead right. They look to be ****ting themselves. Hopefully they will be missing those players. Still a bit to go methinks.
                      I love Sarah

Why do people need to prepare for disappointment? It's not going to kill you. Deal with it if it arrives.Preparing yourself for it possibly happening is just ludicrous. If you can't enjoy a title race because you need to prepare yourself for failure then give up footy.

Thats pretty much a generalisation to be honest. Everyone reacts to things differently. Some people can hack the pressure of a race, some struggle. Why should the strugglers give up the support of their club? Its bollocks

I always find it a bit odd on football forums, that if you're not fanatically optimistic and 100% positive at all times you're immediately a detractor in some people's eyes.

It's less pessimism and a little bit of realism; they have two fairly easy home games and a huge goal difference. We have Crystal Palace away in their best form all season.

Granted, we could still win it, but it's more unlikely. We're all just a little disappointed, we're not simply negative Nancy's

The protestations that you are making that "its over" and "move on to next season" are what gets me.

Nothings over, nobody got the trophy today.City just struggled past a team trying to lose and apparently thats it! ****ing bonkers. You can wallow in it when its actually over, until then I'd rather think positive and support the team.
