A bit harsh on Sterling, I thought he did OK. Still has a lot to learn but I think he worked hard, certainly doesn't deserve being pointed out above othersOriginally posted by kubrickscube View PostThought Allen did well, his pressing injected a needed sense of urgency that helped our tempo. Thought Sterling was a passenger most of the game, and found Henderson frustratingly lacking in an end product. Alberto looked purposeful.

The rest of the performance though? If Suarez has an off day like against Hull, will we be struggling again? My only issue with this season has been that for me, it's been individual performances that have been the focus for our team.
Too often for me it's a goal thanks to a bit of individual brilliance as opposed to us really taking teams to the cleaners and tearing them apart. For me I think we are really struggling in midfield.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Suarez was paying 12/1 for a hattrick, bet he won't be paying that next time they play Norwich.
By the way did anyone place money on the hattrick?"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I agree. Just as well Suarez was on form as I think we'd have struggled.
When we were 4 up, you could tell Norwich were going to score next. There was an inveitability about it. Yet BR changed nothing and, sure enough, we decide to weather the storm by defending like amateurs and they score. It has happened at Newcastle, Everton and Hull this season.
Thought it would have been a chance for Aspas to get some game time but he only got a couple of minutes.
Still, great result. Let's hope we do similar to WHU.Substance > Style
