I look at the glass half full, re. the Southampton game we've won 7 out of 8 home matches so we've been ruthless other than that match. Hull was very disappointing but every team has little slip ups like these. It was a bit of a reality check (which we probably needed) and we've got 6/6 points since then.

Great result & scoreline once again

Suarez our 4th goal was just quality the way he turned the defender twice was sick!! Bit like shirley's for chavs, which was also quite impressive!

The almost scored an identical goal to which we conceded against norwich but this time the Mig made a good save.

As for Skrtel...he's been our best cb so far this season. The og's he's conceded have been largely unlucky on his part. If he doesnt get a touch (like in todays game) the attack gets in on goal...so i'd rather he attempt to block (& score an og) than allow a free route to goal for the opposition. Again the goals against hull were unfortunate but he was at least attempting to close the ball down, 1st goal i think clipped him to loop over past the mig...2nd goal looked like it was going wide but his head deflected it in.

Back to 2nd lets keep this team/formation together now & knuckle down for decembers tough schedule💪

Just hope Stevie will be ok for next week as i don't fancy Lucas coming in alongside Allen against Spurs.

Just like to say in the post match Hull thread I said I expect to be back 2nd after the West Ham game Although I think I said 5 points clear of 5th so its less impressive and more me being slightly positive for once

Tbh the Hull game was our worst performance of the season but we only lost due to 2 deflected goals. We took that game for granted and got a kick up the backside.

I'd rather we smash most teams beneath us and lose the odd one. United have done it for years
