Great performance. Shame it wasa few mistakes that cost us. Had chances to get more from it

    Lee Mason is an ubercunt.

    That is all.

We are astonishing for 70mins, just run out of steam.

      Also think that was corrupt.

Should be on 37 points but at least we can revel in having given city their toughest test yet

So many positives to take from that game considering the strength that they have.

Fine, a few dodgy moments in defence, and a shocker from Glen Johnson today, but we created so many chances and were, as Brendan would put it, aggressive.

                Encouraged overall.

Only saw 30 minutes but based on that we did well and carried a proper threat away against the strongest side in the league. Good work lads.

Disappointing result but really encouraging. City looked bloody relieved as much as happy at the end to win.

Just hope Mignolet forgets this match asap.

No shame in holding City to 2 goals. Just a shame the linesman held us to 1.

Best team lost. Not first time we've been unlucky against City though.

Tough game now v Chavs, but after that it's the tough away days out the way and if we perform as we did today in the majority of them we'll get a good number of points.
                        Forwards.......

Couldn't give a **** if it was the best away performance at Citeh this season. Would rather we did a Jose and get a point away from home by parking the bus than play like we did today and lose.

We've now lost 4 league games.

We gave a good account of ourselves.

Shoddy keeping and not taking our chances cost us, but there are still positives to take from that performance. Away at a team expected to challenge for the title, against an expensively assembled team and I think we were the better side.

Lee Mason and his 'assistants' had a 'mare.
