With the industry we showed against City Mourinho daren't play Mata in this game. With Ramires out it means Oscar (a Jose favourite) will come in. Bringing Lamps in against Hendo/Lucas/Allen will be suicide and Jose just doesn't trust Mata's tracking.

I reckon the midfield will be Essien/Mikel/Oscar. Foward 3 of Hazard/Willian/Torres.

The only things to fear are Oscar's long distance shooting and Hazard's runs (because I've just jinxed him to score against us now). But if we display the same force of nature against Chelsea they will not be able to live with us.

I can't believe I said all that. Look at us.

Ramires is like their Henderson, his absence might allow us more control of the midfield
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I'd expect Lampard to start with Mikel and Oscar and probably the front 3 of Torres, Willian and Hazard.

Hoping Terry and Cahill start at the back as the pace of Sterling will cause them issues on top of what Suarez will bring should cause them issues all day long.

For me this is a very winnable game BUT its Maureen and his sides are never easy to beat especially at home, no doubt he'll turn this into a war of attrition and we've got to hope for a strong ref performance of which I very much doubt we'll get with Webb, I fully expect some controversial decision from him.

As said above. Manc' Webb has the potential to ruin it. I expect similar to City. Meh.

Chelsea are above us though so it'd be in his interest to ruin them over us. If he ruins them winning it then I'm all for that

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes Liverpool are genuine title contenders because Brendan Rodgers's side can fully focus on the Premier League.

The Portuguese feels that the Reds's lack of European action could help them to a first championship in 24 years.

"They are not involved in the heat of the knock-out situation in the Champions League or even Europa League," Mourinho said.

"Quality, plus ambition and this advantage - so yes, (they could win)."

Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal are all still in the Champions League, and Mourinho believes that Liverpool could end up playing 20 fewer games than some of their title challengers over the season.

"These players are going to play 60 matches. Liverpool will play 40 matches. It's a big difference," he continued.

"Liverpool are on holidays (for) one season - one week to prepare a match, play the match, one more week to prepare the next match. This is an advantage, an unbelievable advantage."

Chelsea face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday, with Luis Suarez making his first appearance against the West Londoners since serving a 10-match suspension for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in April.

The Uruguay striker has netted 19 goals in 13 Premier League appearances this season, but Mourinho feels that the 26-year-old is not Liverpool's only threat.

"He didn't start the season, with suspension, and after that the numbers are fantastic," Mourinho said.

"When he came back, it was a big plus. But let's be fair - Liverpool did very well without him when he was suspended.

It's all positive from Maureen (except the mind games about the 40/60 matches), but I'd still prefer he shut the **** up and talked about his own team.

We have a great chance tomorrow. Since I slaughtered every player and manager on here the team have made me totally eat my words. I stand by what I said as that's my opinion, but the way we have played since the Hull debacle has been outstanding.

Henderson is a revelation since Gerrard got injured. Some great play lately and long may the team ram my words down my throat.

You don't have to 'stand by' your opinion though; You can change your mind and it will save you munching on your own words each time you log-on.

Incredibly tough ask to beat Chelsea. If they had Suarez they'd be miles clear at the top. If one of their strikers finally has a good day they're more than capable of walloping anyone. I suspect they'll be solid and tough to break down, pack the midfield and over power us at set pieces. They have the ability to break us down, but Jose knows we also have the ability, so it's a safer bet to be solid.
